Prologue:
Timothy Winters woke up sweating, and yelling. The pungent smell of acid hung in the air. He groaned slightly and got out of bed, a strange wailing noise cut through the dark. Shaking his head he strolled over to the mantelpiece and casually swatted the shotgun down off its hooks. The wailing noise stopped, he lowered the gun and turned around to sit back down. He screamed, a shrill unearthly sound that was cut short very suddenly.
